I am currently experimenting with radio and have set up a system to receive APT Satellite images, My other interests are sailing my Westerley Griffon, collecting and restoring classic fountain pens.

The weather station was installed August 2003 and the anemometer was fitted on the chimney at 30ft on 1st August 2004 as it was too sheltered previously. Data collection started 20th August 2003 and is uploaded on to this site every hour 24 hours a day (unless I am on holiday). Data is also uploaded hourly to APRS and Weatherunderground (see link at bottom of page. There is a download section where my raw data files and NOAA format files can be downloaded. If you have a file type preference please email me and I will try to have that file type available.

The station is a Davis Weather Monitor II and is currently receiving data via WeatherLink 5.4 software. It is fully functional with Wind, Rain, Humidity and Temperature sensors. All times are GMT(UTC), therefore are consistent throughout the year.
