Eastbourne  Weather Conditions

This weather station located in north Eastbourne was previuosly located about a mile away in Willingdon. The equipment used is a Davis Vantage Pro 2 with daytime fan assisted aspiration and solar radiation sensor. It has been operating since January 1st 2011.

The area has it's own Microclimate, being a few hundred metres from the foot of the Sussex Downs. It may not be representative of the wider Eastbourne area.

Temperature sensors are calibrated to BS692 by a Mercury reference.

The station updates the internet every 30 minutes, the data is used to produce our own daily forecast.

Weather Display software is used for data collection, Weather Display Live software for live views and Wxsim software to produce the daily forecast.
